With 48 cards, TimsCards has a complete set of 1947 Bond Bread baseball and boxing cards with the highest graded a CSG 7.5. This black and white set is one of the most popular early baseball card sets following the end of World War II. Several key cards exist in the set, including Joe DiMaggio (CSG 6), Bob Feller (CSG 6.5), Stan Musial (CSG 6), Johnny Mize (CSG 7) and Ted Williams (CSG 6), but the most important card is no doubt the rookie card of Jackie Robinson (CSG 5.5). Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier the year this set was issued. Joe Lewis (CSG 1.5) is thought to be the most valuable boxer card in the set.
