CGC Signature Series Launches for TCGs, Sports Cards and Non-sports Cards in Mainland China

The Certified Collectibles Group® (CCG®) is thrilled to announce that CGC Cards™, the hobby’s fastest-growing card grading service, is partnering with several popular card distributors to launch CGC Signature Series for card collectors in Mainland China!

What is CGC Signature Series?

CGC pioneered witnessed signature authentication when it introduced CGC Signature Series for comics in 2001. With CGC Signature Series, collectors can have their cards signed by artists, creators and celebrities in the presence of a CGC Cards representative. The authenticity of the signature is then 100% certain, making the collectible eligible for the iconic CGC Signature Series yellow label.

How to submit cards for CGC Signature Series certification in Mainland China

CGC Cards is accepting submissions for CGC Signature Series for TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards. Pricing for CGC Signature Series for cards is based on the grading tier you choose and does not include Signer Fees, which vary depending on the signer.

To submit cards for CGC Cards grading with the CGC Signature Series designation, collectors must attend a signing event where a CGC Cards representative is present to witness the signature. After getting cards signed at the event, collectors must then immediately submit the signed cards to a CGC Cards Authorized Dealer on site to maintain the chain of custody. Please remember that all submissions to CGC Cards in Shanghai must be made through a CGC Cards Authorized Dealer. For a list of CGC Cards Authorized Dealers in Mainland China, go here.

CGC Cards Authorized Dealers will not be able to accept cards from collectors in advance of the event or take cards to the event on behalf of the collector to get a signature. Collectors must attend the event to get their cards signed and witnessed.
