Dozens of Trading Cards Graded CGC Pristine 10 or Perfect 10 Offered in Heritage Sale

Dozens of trading cards certified by CGC Trading Cards® with grades of Perfect 10 or Pristine 10 are being offered in a Heritage Auctions sale. Online bidding is already underway for the 2022 Gem Mint Trading Card Games Showcase Auction, which is being held on November 10, 2022.

The entire auction features cards with grades of Perfect 10 or Pristine 10, the two highest grades achievable through CGC Trading Cards’ 10-point grading scale. Cards graded Pristine 10 must have perfect centering and no evidence of any manufacturing or handling defects, while cards graded Perfect 10 must achieve all the requirements for a Pristine 10 while also having perfect sub-grades. Leading the CGC-certified trading cards in the sale is a Charizard, Pokémon (2000) Base Set 2 #4/130 Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 with sub-grades of 10 for Centering, 9.5 for Surface, 10 for Corners and 10 for Edges (lot 77066). This is the highest-graded example of a Base Set 2 Charizard in the CGC Trading Cards Population Report.

Another notable card being offered in the auction is a Mox Diamond, Magic: The Gathering (1998) Stronghold Rare graded CGC Pristine 10 with sub-grades of 10 for Centering, 10 for Surface, 9.5 for Corners and 10 for Edges (lot 77004). This Mox Diamond is one of only three graded Pristine 10 in the CGC Trading Cards Population Report. A callback to the original Mox gems from the Power 9, this rarity allows players to tap one mana of any color by discarding a land when it enters the field.
