CSG Certifies Relic Cards from 2021 Topps Dynasty Formula 1 Set

Posted on 7/1/2022

The premium cards feature some of the most recognized names in the world of F1 racing, like Leclerc, Verstappen and Ricciardo.

Topps launched its Dynasty line of premium sports trading cards in 2014 with a focus on baseball, which is widely considered to be the “everyman’s sport.” When it expanded the line for the first time in 2020, it took a sharp turn from everyman to elite, choosing to focus on what is considered to be one of the most high-end sports in the world — Formula 1 racing.

The Topps Dynasty Formula 1 cards provide collectors with all of the features that have come to be expected from premium sports cards. Each card includes the autograph of the featured racer or racers (the Constructor Team Dual Relic Autograph cards include two racers with the autograph of each) as well as a part of a race-worn suit, which can be a fragment of a patch, name plate, flag, glove or zipper. No more than 10 copies of each card were printed, each being stamped with an “X/X” designation. Most of the cards have parallel editions including a Red parallel, of which five are printed, and a Gold parallel, of which one is printed. The 2021 set introduced a Black parallel, of which two are printed.

Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) recently graded several cards from the 2021 Topps Dynasty Formula 1 set, which was released on May 11, 2022. The cards feature some of the most recognized names in the world of F1 racing.
